Great idea wezm
Not everyone has been able to switch away from glibc. I really like the concept and how Chimera Linux works, but I use old games and emulators that require glibc. I hope the whole project goes well and will be a success!
The infrastructure is really well set up the website and everything. I’d like to thank you for respecting the FOSS community and using an independent git. I’m also posting this to test the forum. I’m from Central Europe so a forum is really the only sensible option

Welcome, and congrats on being the first person (aside from me) to post on the forum!

Just popping in to say hello.
I'm pretty jazzed about this distro - seems like a the perfect collection of components for my needs.

Hello,
greetings from Brazil. Thanks for your work, Wezm.
My suggestion is create an organization on GitHub as a mirror for the codeberg repository.
This will attract attention and contributors.

Hello, and welcome! Thanks for your interest in the project. Codeberg was deliberately chosen. It uses the same workflow as GitHub, so the barrier to entry is low. There are no plans to be on GitHub as well.

can I create a org to maintain an independent mirror?

No, please don't. There is no need for it and it will just create confusion around what is official vs. unofficial. Plus all contributions would need to come via Codeberg anyway. If you're working on one of the repos it's fine to publish your fork under your own user on GitHub, but PRs will still need to be opened on Codeberg for CI and review.
